HIGH-PERFORMANCE ROLLING DOORS
You can also purchase a high-performance rolling door from United Steel Products that include a Nema 4/4x control panel with digital display, easy-to-program digital open and close limits, adjustable door speed, and the option for a variety of access controls. Optional features for high-performance rolling doors include a laser light curtain for added safety, customized materials and finishes, and ventilating curtains.
The laser curtain detects movement and will stop and reverse a closing door if something passes through it. For materials and finishes, you can choose from stainless steel, anodized aluminum, powder coating, or hot-dipped galvanized steel. Ventilated curtains can be perforated slats, fenestrated slats, or steel rod grilles.
High-performance rolling doors are available in the Model 300-HPD or the Model 400-HPD. These doors are manufactured with an innovative direct-drive operator system that eliminates the need for springs. This mechanism keeps the curtain aligned better, reduces the need for maintenance, and gives the rolling door a life cycle five times as long as spring doors. This feature also allows the speed of the door to open at speeds up to 48 inches per second and close at 24 inches per second. Get more information about the Hi-Performance Door models.
FIRE SHUTTERS AND FIRE DOORS
Protect your business from fire hazards with the Model 700 and Model 750 rolling fire doors. The fire doors contain a heat-sensing system and, if there is ever a fire at your facility, the doors will automatically close to keep the fire from spreading and causing more damage. They will stay closed for up the three hours, giving the fire department more than enough time to respond to the incident before severe damage can occur. We recommend rolling fire doors for labs and warehouses.
Model 700
The Model 700 is our rolling fire door. These doors can be up to 13 feet and 6 inches wide and 12 feet tall. They are manufactured with a curtain, hood, guides, counterbalance, and additional options. They include either UL 3, 1 ½, or ¾ hour labels and can decide which length of door closure is best for your facility in case of a fire.
Model 750
The Model 750 is comprised of our fire shutters, which also automatically close in case of fire. This is another method of keeping a fire from spreading throughout your facility and can also stay closed for up to three hours. Our fire shutters can be up to 13 feet 6 inches wide and 12 feet tall. The Model 750 is manufactured with a curtain, hood, guides, counterbalance, and other options.
Auto Resetting Operators and Releases
Your fire doors and shutters aren’t complete without in-line gear drive fire door motor operators. The type of operator you purchase depends on whether or not you buy fire doors or fire shutters. Check out the specifications of the Model FDC and Model FDCL operators for fire doors and shutters. Access control releases are designed to work in conjunction with the fire door operators. They make sure that all of the signals are interpreted by the system correctly so that the fire door acts accordingly. The access control releases can work with both motorized and non-motorized systems.
